Another finest piece from Nepathya (Amrit). The begging was very noble then 1st quarter onward it turns into a patriotic theme. At the end, I thought, Ooh! The New Nepali Antheme would have been much better in this music.

I grew up listening to Nepathya. Since the release of their first album, band members have changed and so has many other things. But what has remained unchanged in Amrit Gurung and true potrayel of Nepal and Nepali lives that Nepathya have been doing through their songs. I had loved the song immediately after it’s release, and now to see Nepal through Amrit dai’s lenses is an honour for me.
Great pictures and they are just nostalgic.

when i was small in my teenage i listen their first music chekyo chekyo after that i have been listening them whether i am inside or outside my country. this is the band which always represnt our nepali music and culture. These band is really nepali band which makes us nepali and to be nepali.

Nepathya.. my all time fav band. I like n listen to all their songs from Chekyo Chekyo to the songs till this time. I would like to thank Amrit Dai n all the band members for their effort of bringing nepali music from corners of nepal to us. You guys are doing great job. I had a a great opportunity to meet Amrit Dai when I was in Kathmandu last year. Not only is he a great musician, but an equally heart-throbbing gentle-man who amused me with his sense of belonging as a true Nepali gau ghar ko musician and always full of energy, laughter and sense of humor. He simply is a legend in his own way. I went to his concert and thoroughly enjoyed his performance. This song is another of his soothing evergreen song. I first heard this song on 2003 and till now this song brings tears in my eyes, when I listen to it. I used to share this touchy song (in MP3) along with other numbers in this album (bheda ko oon jasto) to may friends back then.
Most beautful part is the lyrics and then the music composition, both of them are done by Avash. I’m not discounting Amrit, I like his works, voice very much. He has done really great job to collect music from all around the country. His work in other songs are great like in ’simanama’. But I’d like to give full credit to Avash in this song. Because, if any other good singer would have sung this song, this still would be great song. So, I do not find so special visual. Nice to learn that Amrit is also a very good photographer.
And now as the music video is realesed, this song has got good publicity and I’m glad that now so many people are listening this beautiful song and appriciating real good NEPALI song.

Yeah, this song is really good. I am continuously listening the song since its release some years back. But I think that the music video has come too late. Please try to bring the music video togeher with the release of the album so that the song could get the space as it should get. “Rangeen Chara” song is still a contemporary and informative song for Nepalese people but I believe that it would have taken much more popularity, had this music video been released together with the release of this song. i had listened to this song loong back when the album was out.. and i had been askin Nepa~laya people why in the earth this song isnot being promoted.. they were busy promoting Sa Karnali and Bheda ko Oon jasto but this song and Samsajhai ma had been totally neglected..

Cinematography’s well executed. (The song, of course, is heart touching). Just a few minor things could have been done during the editing (probably- I’m no pro myself)
Zooming into all the imges could have been done a little slowly. (Or simply used dissolves between images)
In the video part- there’s more movement of the camera than movement of the object. A few more shots with movement in the z-axis (similar to teh ones in the end where Amrit is walking across the fields) would have been great
few photos left black spaces in the sides. Enlarging and cropping could have helped. (though adjusting a photo to fit a video frame is tough)
Why no shots of Amrit actually clicking away?
Overall, commendable job. Looking forward to more of Bhusan Dahal’s works. Lead the way, sir. We need a revolution in the Nepali film Industry. Our music videos are always better than the Indian Counterparts- lets make the same happen to our films. I have been yearning to watch Kagbeni. I hope I get to soon.
