Dashain is one of the longest and the most auspicious festivals in the Nepalese annual calendar, celebrated by Nepalese of all caste and creed throughout the country. The fifteen days of celebration occurs during the bright lunar fortnight ending on the day of the full moon. On the last day of Dashain, Kojagrat Purnima (full moon), veteran gurus get together to celebrate Dashain at Gurukul in Kathmandu on Friday (Oct 26, 2007). On the occassion, they exchanged greetings and Tika-Jamara with each other.
