Look at some of our leaders… sleeping( they are too old for Nepal.. they better stay home and sleep)

It is great pleasure to hear that 10 years of bloody conflict in Nepal has ended. Today common Nepali in Nepal and rest of the world who are living abroad can take a breath of relief and happiness.

Let™s forget the past bloody history and heal the pain and suffering of Nepalese by supporting, helping and elevating their pains. Let build new Nepal joining hand in hand. Let™s root-out corruption, bring everlasting peace and develop a prosperous nation. Let™s learn from our past mistakes and develop a new vision for Nepal. Let™s make Nepal a prosperous nation where every Nepali has equal chance to prosper and contribute in the development of nation. Let™s make Nepal the nation where peace, equality and justice prevail.

Absolutely, fentastic!!!!!!!!!! very happy to hear & watch this news. peace has to win so it won, we are the lover of our mother land NEPAL . No matter we are beyound the touch able distance of mother’s hug but we are loved ones of our mother, because we love her so much. We were very desperate to have this day. It Must be permanent, long lasting, never ending, creative and trustworthy. It should not be hidden or venish for the selfness of endividuals, being a inner but ouside viewer of our mother land, we have the right to keep on eyes on them and raise our hands for any false and badly hidden agreements. In no circumtances whether government or maoist must not over ride the agreement.Naturally and treditionally we are the peaceful people so even in no cases we offer peace but if some one crosses the line of beyound we know how to get tempered. This is why after this any side who ever break the agreement will not be accept by Nepali hearts, insiders or outsiders of Nepal.Billions of hearts will not beat for love, they will be rattled with the end less anger.no one will be forgiven. It’s a challange……………………………. yes !!!!it’s a challange….to keep this peace in our lovely mother land and it will be prolong. It’s an incredible reincarnation of peace in our mother land and we never gonna loose it. We were searching for peace on the land where lord buddha born, what a shame????????????????? but it doesn’t exist any longer. that’s it!!!!!! from me. thanks…. PHALANO…appreciate your genious move, making lovely rope of keep in touch, specially the people who are totally outside from the country. thanks once again.!!!!!

CONGRATULATION!! to all the nepalis in Nepal and nepalis around the world from my HEART. It was our prays to God that this happend today not cas of these freaky old leaders. Finally God hears our pray. Thank the load!!! So many of innocent people got killed over 10/11yrs of violence cas’ of these selfish leaders, they jus washed people’s brains. Freaky old clowns mission is completed they have got what they wanted and now it doesn’t matter how many of innocent poor jaanta got killed over these years. These drama queens are laughing and talkin and enjoying every seconds but what about families partners friends who lost they loved 1s when they were the one was fighting amongst each other. What do they get? These chicken leaders don’t give a damn about them. If they are so true to Nepal and jaanta as they say then why don’t they help them and other poor jaanta. In this outcome poor innocent jaanta are getting bloody nothing! These clowns took great advantage of those innocent people and at the end they got betrayal from both sides. But both sides achieved lots of goodies. Those selfish leaders don’t give a danm about Nepal or jaanta. All they care about is their tummy NOT jaanta’s tummy.
It feels like as if someone you love the most has jus come back from the death. Thats what I feel like and its wonderful to hear that. But I hope this is for real and will last forever. Don’t need to congrats these old daggy leaders. They are jus drama queens and daggy old farts. CARE ABOUT YOUR NEPAL AND JAANTA THATS WHY YOU ARE THERE AND THATS WHAT YOUR JOB IS!!!

But we should not be overjoyed since the results of this agreement has yet not come. We should be opstimistic about this agreement that will bring a change in our country, a very good one; but neverthless we should also be cautious and see the uncoming actions of the leaders if they will defy any rules and stab us from back again, since these are the same politicians who put us in a decade of ddarkness.

Thank you Phalano, I am over joyed to read this great news! It is one of the happiest moment to all the Nepalese.

But however, all the Nepalese should bear in mind the killings of more than 15000 innocents and the sufferings for more than a decade, and of those who lost their love ones, and on those who became disabled and to those who are still suffering. This decade old Maoist insurgency had driven our country to back to poverty and backwardness. Bearing all these bitter facts of the past, all the Nepalese leaders and citizens should work honestly and seriously to make the Nepal shine with lasting peace!!!

However….for the lasting Peace and Prosperity in Nepal, depends on each and every Nepalese individuals, we should learn the wisdom of love and kindness, especially by the political leaders. In the religion of Love and kindness, there is no caste and creed, there is not a single sense of prejudice at all, if majority of Nepalese practice this universal religion of love and kindness, than there will be a lasting peace and prosperity in Nepal. Otherwise just signing on Peace agreement doesn’t bring true lasting peace, we should understand that it comes from within inside of good and warm heartedness of every individuals! Practice honesty, love and kindness, this is a source of lasting Peace and Prosperity for all!!!

We also congratulate and thanks the Heroes and builders of Peace Accord specially RH PM Mr. GP Koirala and ML Prachand. God bless you all the time. We agree that political stability is the basic entry point for development. Now with the begging of the new political era to create new Nepal, new education system should be introduced related to real-life situation, functional and job-oriented. As nepal is heading towards the first quarter of 21 th century with around 56 % of 15 + illiterate population, literacy promotion should be given top priority in Nepal. Now Literacy is considered an entry point of development. Most advance social cultures including democratic values are measured by the literacy status of a country as the indicators of Human Resource Development.

    Rajesh,
Your pictures no doubt speak for themselves; especially those of leaders sleeping in parliament or during the sighing of the historic peace agreement signing ceremony. Believing that you move around diplomatic circles taking pictures and interacting with them, I did not expect you to get mixed up between the North Korean ambassador and the SAARC Secretary General. The person in picture six from the top with the red tie is Chenkyab Dorji, the SAARC Secretary General who is from Bhutan and NOT the North Korean Ambassador.

This is a great historical day !More comments after the agreement is implemented sincerely and honestly. For once,we like to see all concerned rising above their petty partisan interests and work for the people and the nation. The main ailment is widespread rampant corruption as is obvious from the recent aquittal of the notorious duo,Khum Bdr. Khadga and Givinda R.Joshi among others. No wonder Nepal has become notorious for harboring most corrupt judges right from the top to the bottom. We expect the Maoists to deal with such creeps of the lowest order-most effectively.

First of all thank God for answering Nepali Christians around the world who prayed with fasting and tears. Thanks to the people front of Nepal who sacrificed their lives for the restoration of democracy. Thanks and Congradulation to PM GP Koirala who risk his life for the democracy and peace establishment in Nepal. I & We, those who are living in Korea heartily welcomed the signing of the peace accord in Nepal between the government of Nepal and the Maoists. It introduces Nepal to the world as Nepal, not as poor and dependent upon huge and rich countries. And also it gives lesson to the other countries who have same crisis in their respective nation. Thanks and congradulation to the Maoists for considering peace and signing of peace agreement. It proved that everyone has right to live in peace and enjoy their lives in his respective country. From now on, especially political parties have to live and behave carefully instead of pulling others’ parties legs. All kinds of armies, Polices and official officers have to behave as human toward every people, language, tribe, caste and religions. Of course every Nepali has to change their heart and mind in order to lead this new Nepal into new direction. If not, this historic landmark peace will not last. Rather it may turn to bloodshed and civil war, which will be worse than before and ever. Therefore, let us watch up and don’t laugh right now, rather cry and ready to build up our nation by ourselves, by forgiving each other, by correcting each other and not by pulling other’s leg. Let us encourage each other and let the peace last forever. Politcal parties must change their corrupted mind and heart not only political ideas.

It’s great news for all Nepalese in Nepal and abroad, but why are the Maoists taking the accord so lightly? Why are they still collecting road taxes in eastern regions? Why are they recruiting boys and girls forcibly? Why are they still threatning and intimidating people? Aren’t all these things to be stopped? While ordinary people are jubliant over the accord the Maoist cadres have not respected the accord, only time will tell if they do so. Will all the Nepalese just keep mum and keep on obeying them? Time will tell.

This is certainly a turning point for Nepal, Rajesh jee deserves million thanks for bringing it up. We Nepalese certainly deserve it after all these years of heartache – special thanks also goes to Giriaja Koirala, probably one of the best chances he did not miss in order to make us forget several unpopular deeds in the past. Now he certainly deserve “peace prize” for being a determined leader to establish permanent peace in Nepal despite his bad health and age – he did not miss chance to become a legendary leader of a time. We also must not forget Prachanda – this job is praiseworthy. However, this is not all we need – real challenge lies ahead. We need to learn to be allert at all time and remain cautious, take interest in learning at least what is basic rights, understanding politics, democracy – what all that mean to poorest of the poors, understand what kind of oppertunity time has just offered us so that we do not repeat the same mistake by choosing disturbance against peace and progress, arms instead of pens in schoolers hand.

Unlike the earlier ones the nature of this Peace Accord is unprecedented yet there are clouds of suspicion hovering in the horizen with the following markers:
a.The king and monarchy seems like the waning moon,a bunch of fading roses. What if amid the fading roses a strong thorn of Coup De Tat takes place?
b.Political parties are pulled to the decision of bypassing the monarch due to public mandate.Yet opportunists of many colors are in abundant number in each party. They may side to the king in a dramatic mood. Are the people ready to tackle this situation?
c.The military back force of the king is still intake. What so ever Girija Grandpa shouts stating the Nepal army has come under the constitution he is saying so on the basis of paper work only.In practice it may not come true. The army may cross the floor to the royal court.
d.The maoists may also try to run their totaliterian rule. That will be unwise decision. As for the King of Nepal,as a friend and once his father’s Subject,I would recommend him to stepdown from the chair and live a happy ordinary life not as a MahaRajah. For the monarchy has become so defamed in the nation. For the future of his offsprings Rajah should live as ordinary people and slowly people will respect him.
e.When the Rajah agrees to live a simple life, the new government should give hi guareenty of his family security. It is the duty of the government to protect every citizen.
I am a very matured citizen of Nepal. So I welcome the peace accord.Yet I am waiting to see it really applied in practice. Also the new government should make peace with minor fighting groups.A small coal creats wildfire. It is every Nepalis’ duty to access the peace accord .

Well, I am sorry for my comment. Its good peace is there now. Hopefully some of our people would not need to sacrifice their lives. I can put fake smile on my face by knowing peace arrised finally but inside my heart, I am still hurt and sad.

    Dear Editor,
Paul ist the name and Hannover is the city in Germany.
The email address is correct. It shows how little geographical knowledge you have.

Any way I have seen the peace accord at one side and the maoist atrocities at the other side. At the same time the court ist very mucht pressed by the new political leaders in power. For example you can see the acquittel of the two notorious corrupt politician. The maoists have sacrificed over 13000 lives in Nepal just to give clean chits to these corrupt politicians and bring them back to power. Since India was the main supporter of so called maoists they are ready to sell Nepal to their mentor. You can see the new citizenship bill being passed and the treaty of extradition to be signed soon.
Every one is saying that there will be peace and prosperity in Nepal as the emperor’s new cloth. No one dares to say the truth. The same thing was hoped in 1990. What happend after that? Maobadis, Indian intervention and corruption. What comes next wide corruption, arms struggle from the disgruntled group, Indian intervention. Wait and see what happens in 5-10 years.

Are we at the end of war?
Raising this question may feel you that iam against the historic moment or iam too pessimist. I recently read news about Army personnel being questioned for wrong doing. We should kept in mind that there is all fair in war.Saying this dosent mean iam supporting the army. In these internal conflict is only army did wrong i dont think they are the only one.Wasnt there any wrong doing by maiost side too.Question come why they are not brought in supreme court. Is maiost superior then supreme court if yes then there is useless of keeping in a country.Another thing that made me feel sad that king was blamed for happening in nepal. Is he the only one.Is he brought this situation in nepal.Arent we the one who brought this situation.I beleive we are equally responsible for what happened in our country.i urge everybody first of all lets develop loyalty for the nation. lets not diversify our self in i but instead we.Until and unless there isn’t any we and our nation then war will carry on for ever and it would be worse than before.lets pray for unity not diversity.
    Always my country.

Claim about the end of war has become false. We should not take internal conflict lightly coz it may be more dangerous than previous. The end of war created diversified nation. Unity seems breaking down.Changing the system was not the achievement.Unity should be maintained between nepalese. Its in press hand where they can lead nepalese. You guys know better than me.

Nice to see the images directing Nepal to new direction. If images in coming days shows our leader always shaking hands then we really can believe and hope to see new developed, prosperous and peace Nepal.

It is not good to shake hand for a contract which has definite time frame, and fulfills the need of contractor(politician) but shake hands for the contract(NEW NEPAL) which don’t have definite time frame and fulfills the bliss of Nepali.

Thank you Rajesh Dai for providing hope to Nepalese people through this images…

Manoj, you are right, after seeing all these dramas past and at present, things are not changing for the stable government in Nepal, it is going no where after signing the agreement paper and shaking hands. All these cruel leaders have something in mind, says something, signs agreement and shakes hand but their true motive and reality in heart is hidden. However, we see them clearly with all their ugly deeds in past and at present, their foul play and behaviors on power struggle shows, how selfish, silly and unworthy leader they are. Millions of Nepalese expected and put much hope on these political leaders of Nepal, they sacrificed and risked their dear lives for the country, in which 15000 Nepalese died , many thousands are injured, widowed, and many thousands are orphaned, Nepal\’s economy is shattered and pushed back ward. ***
