Security personnel continued to use bullets, rubber bullets, teargas shells and batons to quell the demonstrations organized by the agitating seven-party alliance (SPA) in various parts of the country including in the capital on Tuesday, Apr11, 2006.

Thank you to all photographers who contribute to this site. It is so disturbing to see the violence especially towards children and amazing to see the passion of the population to restore democracy.

THIS IS GOTTA STOPPPPPPPPPP…………. ITS TOOOO MUCH. “POLICE+KING” AREN’T YOU SATISFIED YET BY BLEEDING AND INJURING THOUNDS OF PEOPLE ? What do you want more deaths, more shooting, more injuries, severe beating, what is it that you want more? All we want is peace and democracy. If you can give us please do, we don’t want more crisis. Please open your ears and sometimes do lisent to us as well and only only to your selfishness or selfish judgement. Please see (watch) us as well with your eyes that you are suppose to protect us and not only your selfish future of being king and ruling this country. Please have some love and faith towards us and not only within yourself and your palace. And, PLEASE STOP THIS VIOLENCE ITS KILLING US AND YOURSELF AND OUR MOTHERLAND.

My heart goes out to all Nepalis as I watch with horror the state attacking its own citizens. I lived in Nepal for a year and a half as a researcher and worry about friends and family who live there. My respect to the Nepali journalists and photographers who are showing such commitment. Reconciliation and democratisation are needed now!

    Hellow Everyone!!!
These pictures show the reality inside beautiful Nepal. Things changed a lot, what our country used to be and what it is now. If we keep on going like this, a day will come when there will be no country as Nepal. I do not know why the situation is like this or who is responsible for all these things but the bottom line is we have to improve the situation or else we are going to lose a beautiful country of himalayas. that’s all folks. peace.

Why we are not proud to be NEPAL ARMY, NEPAL POLICE, GOVERNMENT OF NEPAL and work togather ? Now lets begin. JAI NEPAL AND JAI NEPALI JANTA.
