I am very proud and grateful that we still have noble people like you in Nepal. You have shown the true Tibetan Buddhist follower of Lord Buddha. I have once read H.H. the Dalai Lama’s book “Arts of Happiness” and he has mentioned that “it doesn’t matter what religion you belong to, the most important thing in today’s world is to be a good human being and be compassionate towards all senteint beings.”

My sincere appreciation to all these tibetan ladies for thier wonderful act of social work. It’s very commendable and exemplary. Many tibetans(including myself) consider Nepal as our second home.Though I was born tibetan, I still have the feeling of nepali inside me.Nepal is my second home.
I think we should give them due recogniton for who they are !
And it is still not too late for the leaders of all the parties to rise beyond the party politics and Power. While the world is moving forward, why should we move backward ?? We should be making stride towards peace and prosperity.
And make a level playing field for our future generation in the world stage !!!

I was amused to read what people had to say about those bakkhu-clad ladies. Some called them Sherpas, some called them Buddhists and some called Nepali. The truth is those compassionate women are Tibetans (Tibetan refugees, Tibetans who have opted for Nepali citizenship), Mustangis, Manangis and Dolpos. It is sad that the majority Hindu Nepali called those unselfish women volunteers using their own resources ……… Buddhists women. When a Tibetan or Tibetan origin person is involved in murder or theft the same majority Hindu Nepali call them Mongolian looking people. A spade is a spade. Why can’t our Nepali people acknowledge the Tibetans who embrace this country as their own and have contributed so much to our culture, economy and added color to our mosiac tradition.

and I think this should be done in every pond in Kathmandu valley. there are hundreds of pond those are without water. This is a very good step for conserving the heritage of our country.
