The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday (March 28) ordered authorities to release recently-sacked sub-inspector of police, Hom Bahadur Bagale, from police custody. Terming Bagale’s detention as illegal, a division bench of SC ordered his release.

Bagale, who was produced before the Supreme Court today, said the justice by the court has now shattered the web of corruption in the high-ranking police officers.

œI have been tortured for speaking against corruption in the police organization, Bagale said in an emotional voice. As he walked free at the court premises, he chanted slogan against corrupt police officials but expressed his respect to police organization. Clad in shabby police dress, Bagale complained that he was threaten and tortured by police officers in detention.

Talking to journalists, he challenged police officials to tell the truth about head constable Bishnu Kumari Kafle. According to Bagale, some police officers “made Kafle pregnant” and has been œuntraced so far.

Bagale accused Inspector General of Police Shyam Bhakta Thapa of corruption. œThapa has deposited his money earned thorugh corruption in the name of Rajendra Gurung to avoid possible action from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA). As Gurun is former ex-Gurkha, CIAA cannot question his property, he said.

i donot feel any surprise with this incident.since everyone in this nation is familier with corruption. nothing is going to happen in the present condition. if one person leaves, another will fill the vaccum. what we need to change is social, economic and of course the structure of the present condition. any position a person hold, should be in accordance with capability, personality, competiveness.

Our corrupted to the bone government expects (coerces) general public to support their war against Maoist (bunch of ignorant clowns). Its a lose-lose situation, what an irony.

Government is not fighting for us, they doing it for their own welfare coz if Maoist grab the power then its them (govt.) who would be fixed up first by Maoist. Maoists are not fighting for us either, its just couple of people who brainwashed highly destitute people for their own benefit. Its a big failure on our government’s part that it could not reach its people before maoist did.

Nepal is one of the beautiful country in the world but inside there is number of germs these germs r called corrupted people who is sucking country blood everyday.one of the example we knew from bagale, first i would like to appriciate his courage n dedication regarding this case. look at those police who treated bagale like a animal where is human rights? if there is justice goverment should intiate the action against guilty otherwise they should give regination some body else can deserve to lead goverment. Finally we should love our country n save the nation may god punish the corrupted people.pasupatinath give courage to his family n himself.

Bravo, Mr. Bagale! hats off for his exemplary deed. Unless we drag such corrupt jerk officers out from the responsible position, Nepal Police won’t be able to work according to their mul mantra.

Now, I am afraid whether they will create some kind of conspiracy which would be harmful to Mr. Bagale. We must protect a person like him against corrupt superiors.

All Nepalese are with you Mr. Bagale, carry on your honest deed.

Well done, Bagale. You’ve made sure that from now on, the middle ranked police officers within the Headquarter will get their fair shares too, for gods sake who doesn’t know what goes on within the whole of Nepalese Police Force. The question is, why was Bagale so outspoken this time around, its not normally the case…..Hopefully he is not trying to prove nothing like this one have ever happened during his 21 years of service

Those kind of person who are corupted and showing animal behaviour to mr bagale should be kicked out from police forced right now.

There are lots of nepalese all over the world. i think we all together can make a difference in whats going on in Nepal right now. This is only a clip of what could happen inside the security forces. How a person’ dissatisfaction is supressed by the ‘THULA THALU HAKIM’ in a office. There might be endlees series of ‘TASKARI AND SUN KAND’ inside the police organization.

Mr. Bagale’ life is at crucial. To make the inner incident public, he needs bravery. I fully appreciate what he did. The roles of Kantipur and supreme court are highly appreciable at the event.
